Physical Description: 
This chair consists of a padded seat and backrest with aluminum arms which is supported by a four blade, aluminum pedestal base with casters. The base swivels and the seat and backrest are upholstered with brown Hopsack.
The chair dimensions range from a height of 34 to 35 1/2" while the seat height is from 17 to 18 1/2" due to adjustability.

Additional Information: 
This chair retains its Herman Miller logo tag but is missing all other informational labels. Herman Miller trade name, Adjustable Swivel Side Chair with Casters. 
The Chair utilizes the Aluminum / Soft Pad group castor with chrome shroud.


Twin-wheel castor suitable for all later European versions of Eames work chairs with chrome universal bases. 51mm diameter hard plastic assembly. Also available with a soft tread for use on wood, marble and other hard surfaces. This castor will fit all Aluminum and Soft Pad chairs produced by Herman Miller.

Physical Description: 
This couch consists of 3 black umber naugahyde vinyl seating units attached to a black powder coated steel frame supported by adjustable domes of silence glides. From floor to top of seat cushion is 16.5 inches.
The each seating unit is 24 inches high and 24 inches wide and 27 inches deep.

Additional Information: 

This couch retains materials information tags but is missing all other informational labels and logo tags. The unit is in good original condition for its age but straps are dry and stretched and some seams are separating at the piping, especially along the front edges of the seat.The naugahyde material is remarkable free of imperfections. 

The piece was originally used in the University of Iowa Museum of Art, I picked it up from University Surplus in 1992. It has been used very infrequently since.





Lightolier Ceiling Fixture

Physical Description: 
Eight bulb leaded glass and chrome flush mount ceiling fixture. Fixture is composed of triangular pieces of glass soldered into four-sided pyramids which are in turn soldered together to form a ver interesting articled fixture. The glass fixture is connected to the chrome base plate by means of a central pin which extends through the fixture and is held in place by a screw-on chrome ball.

Additional Information: 
This piece is original and complete. Includes original logo tag. This fixture was in working order when it was removed from the ceiling but due to age it might be wise to re-wire it.

Condition: 
Fixture shows use but overall in very good condition. No broken glass but two corners "pyramids" have sagged over time because of gravity and the joint between the glass panels has separated. No real damage but needs a professional in order to be repaired.

Physical Description
This Office Chair consists of an arm-frame-base combination made of two chrome quadrangles with curved corners and a black metal back and seat supports that links the quadrangles. The seat and back are covered with rust colored wool blend upholstery.

These chairs are also known as 'Protzmann Tubular Chairs'. Price History: 1972: $68/96 variations with upholstery 1989: $519/774 variations with upholstery.
This version does not retain its Herman Miller logo tag but does have the HM product id tag. Printed with the following:

Condition
Original upholstery has some minor pilling. Frame of chair shows use but overall in very good condition. The chair has no glides and shows no evidence of ever having any.

Physical Description: Black painted steel armless task chair. Back and seat upholstered with black vinyl and resting on a four blade base with casters. Chair is height adjustable and back rest can be adjusted in both height and depth.

Additional Information:
These chairs are complete but do not have any identifiable marks or furniture tags.

Condition:
These chairs are well used but in good working condition. Paint is worn on legs, scratches overall, upholstery shows use (with small paint splatters, surface imperfections, small holes) some surface rust to casters. 2 of the chairs are in good condition and 2 are in fair condition.
