Physical Description: 
This chair consists of a padded plywood seat and backrest with painted cast aluminum arm rests. The seat, backrest and armrest pads are upholstered with a white textured vinyl. The seat is supported by a adjustable chrome and polished aluminum pillar setting on a four blade, solid aluminum base (in the style of an Eames contract base) with casters. The chair is equipped with a tilt swivel mechanism.

Additional Information: 
This chair does not retain a logo tag or product information tag. The tilt swivel mechanism is stamped Flo-tilt 300 with a patent number of 2.008.209 and 2.051.043. Patent number 2.008.209 was issued to The Bassick Company in July of 1935 for the "Chair Iron" for use with tiltable chair seats.

Condition: 
Some surface imperfections in arms and base but overall very good condition. Upholstery has been damaged on the tips of the arm rest pads and the back rest.
